Preferred Method Of Transport

We’ve been using this unique method of moving…I think we’ll have only about eight or ten boxes. Bonus of moving not very far!

Too Tall!

She almost fits in her sister’s crib…almost!

Why, Hello!

The girls were playing on the floor while I got breakfast ready when J told me I’d never find C…sure enough, I came out and didn’t see her right away. She is scooting like crazy and got herself stuck under the table! Oh, and that sleeper she is wearing? J picked it out for C back when she was still a Boxing Bean. It was meant to be a hospital/come home from the hospital sleeper, but they only had preemie and big sizes. So we got the smallest big size and at just a few days shy of 7 months, C finally fits in it!

Sitting Baby

C can sit now and she and J love to sit across from each other and play. Or just make each other laugh. That’s the best.

Community Garden

J’s school borders this park and the community garden proposal includes a teaching area – very exciting! (Oh, and the nice weather is back…I had to come home and change after I dropped J off because I was soaked to the skin yesterday…I really am not looking forward to a wet winter.)

Crashed

Baby C was playing on the floor and all of a sudden it was quite quiet…because she’d fallen asleep. She napped here for an hour and a half!

I See The Sky!

I’ve mentioned that we like to get out of our warm apartment in the evenings. We’ve been staying out late enough that the sun starts to go down. We’re usually home a bit earlier than this and the sun is usually still up. Well, tonight we were able to push the cover back on the buggy and C was so excited to see the sky and the tops of the trees!

Bookworm

I can’t remember what the story was that J was “reading” (she read part of it out loud for me) but I am pretty sure it had nothing to do with the plot of When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit.

Soccer Tricks?

Fifers had her birthday party tonight at Cates Park in Deep Cove. Alex was pretty excited to try some soccer skills!

Tiny Booties

I realized that I have no idea where the newborn socks are and no non-pink tiny clothes with feet…I didn’t feel like wandering around trying to find newborn socks, so I whipped up these tiny booties. I’m not sure if they will fit…they told me last week Boxing Bean is over 7lbs now…

Kayaking Canine

So, a few weeks this year got posted a bit after the fact because, oh, pregnant woman was too tired to blog…in the meantime the camera died on us and the memory card ate a bunch of pictures…so throughout March there are a number of pictures taken on March 3 when the three of us went on a bit of a wander.

Umbrella

For Christmas all J wanted was an umbrella…so that’s what Santa brought her!

Seasonal Confusion

I know, these are a summer treat, but my throat was so sore, I just couldn’t resist.

Little Buddies

We went to the Santa Claus parade today with Sharla and Chris and their kids. J and I have been buddies since the very beginning and in a couple of weeks they are moving to Edmonton. J and I said goodbye to each other tonight...we probably won't see them again before they go and J has already grasped how far away Edmonton is and she doesn't like it.

We picked these up (they have pretzels in them) on special at the grocery store. I don't think they were a big seller as they have had their price slashed for "quick sale." They're a hit with J though!

I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep this alive, but apparently I have...so far. The big test will be when I'm in Kelowna for a week...I hope it doesn't get too hot!

Garden Fresh Flowers

Some of my Allegretto cousins were at our little party yesterday - and they brought me beautiful flowers, straight from the garden! Thanks!

Party Clothes

We're off to another birthday party today and J picked her special summer party clothes herself. I love the little shirt the most!
