Pre-Pantomime

My wonderful parents got us three tickets for the pantomime today. They kindly kept Baby C at their house and we took J out for lunch before the play. She was so excited to have a day with just her mom and dad!

Holiday Cozy

What a lovely night! We had a family gathering at my great-aunt and uncle’s Doesn’t it look cozy? There were about 30 of us squished quite comfortably into about 600 square feet. So lovely. AND Alex arrived for the weekend. Happy happy at our house!

This little munchkin gave us a bit of a scare…she’s had a couple of visits to the ER due to a nasty case of croup. And of course, her sleeping schedule is all out of whack too…fingers crossed that tonight she sleeps and there is no croup!

At Her Desk

J is thrilled to be here…She’s been busy doing work at her desk all day!

Up, Up And Away

The girls and I caught an early flight to Kelowna this morning. We’ll be there for a whole week! Yay!!!

Spelling Test

J and I went to the dentist this morning and then we went out for lunch. While we were waiting for our lunch, J says, "Mom, I'm bored. Can you help me?" She came equipped with a notebook and pen and I thought for sure I was being recruited to write the words for a story.

No, my child asks for a spelling test. "But not too hard Mom, I'm still learning."

I'm not sure where she learned about spelling tests since they definitely don't have them yet at her school...but she's having a blast...and I'm learning all about letter people and squish boxes and buddies.

Lullaby

Baby C and I go to the library most Fridays for baby time. The children’s librarian made up a lullaby for her baby and C loves it, but of course I can only ever remember the first verse. Today, she posted all of the verses so we can all sing the lullaby at home with our babies.
