Sunday Morning Imagination

So, on Sunday mornings, Hello Kitty, some My Little Ponies, Kermit the Frog, a Filly Elf horse and a duck get gas at a floating gas station and then go for Lego ice cream. That's it...I wish my to do list for today was that short! (And the skate board that floats on water is pretty cool!)

A Special Tree

J got this very cool tree in the advent calendar today. It’s cardboard and it has a pretty beaded garland and a gold star. The dish has a “magic” solution in it.

This is after four hours. J is going to love it when she gets home!

Bye Bye Blanket

Well, it seems that Baby C moves well enough that putting the blanket down to “contain” her doesn’t make sense for much longer!

Back Yard Project

Yesterday J kept talking about a “secret” project she was doing with my dad. Except it wasn’t really all that secret since she kept telling us all about it. After they built it, she decorated it and they put it out by the raspberry canes. J always has so much fun when she visits my mom and dad!

Happy Baby

Our happy baby wearing some of the lovely crocheted things my mom’s harp friends sent her – besides the hat and the blanket, she has a sweater and some booties. Oh, and the sweater was Alex’s when he was a baby.

Happy Birthday Big Sister

J is in Kelowna for the week, but we’re all wishing her a very happy birthday!

Splattered

J went to her cousin’s birthday party today. They had to wear old clothes and shoes because they were making a large splatter painted canvas. J is actually relatively clean compared to some of the kids!

Civic Duty

It’s election day! We voted, which means we get to complain! The year J was born, we voted three times before she was three months old – there was a municipal election, a federal election and a provincial by-election.

Concentration

J came home from daycare and decided to work on an art project. I’m not sure what it was, but she eventually got distracted by the hockey game and abandoned the project.

Daffodils For Miss J

J has gone to my parents’ house for the week – she left yesterday after the birthday gathering and is coming back on the weekend. She picked out some daffodils on Saturday at the store but they hadn’t opened when she left…now they are in full bloom so of course I had to take a picture so that she could see them when she gets back (because they’ll be long gone by then!)
