Reading With Daddy...Kind Of

While I was making breakfast, Jocelyn was sitting in front of the bookcase reading her books. I looked out of the kitchen and she was gone (and quiet!)...I found her in our room, trying to get a sleeping Daddy to read her a story!

Cuddles

Auntie Kelsey leaves for Kenya while we're away so it will be almost two months before we see her again, so Kelsey and Jocelyn had some before bed cuddle time tonight. Check out the road rash on Jocelyn's chin - she was playing too hard at the park!

Finally, after months and months, I went and picked up a nice, big drying rack. I'm hoping to make a dent in the pile before we leave on our trip!

Jocelyn loved her costume. She pranced around in it for most of the day. She wasn't sure what to make of some of the costumes we saw, but she liked to bark at people who were very dressed up!

We ventured out in the cold rain to cheer on some of our colleagues in pancake relay today...it looked like fun, but a bit treacherous with the wet ground!

Memory

The grocery store often has contests that involve getting cardboard pieces and peeling back flaps to see if you've won...this time I got a memory stick! I don't know the last time I won anything in any of their contests!

Well, not really. I'm usually the baker, but I caught Alex making some cake thing tonight...proof...he can use the kitchen! And apparently it turned out quite well too!
