A Curtain With Legs

This happens a lot now…she’s not sure what to do with curtains since our old place had blinds…I’m trying to convince here she doesn’t really want to hang out under them like this!

Charlotte Diamond

We took Snow White to see Charlotte Diamond...I love that she loves the music we listened to as kids...Charlotte Diamond, Sharon, Lois & Bram and Raffi in particular! J was thrilled to go up on stage and sing and sign along…this is the third year we went and J has been asking for weeks when she would get to go and was so happy to be there today! Especially when she got to go up on stage!

Baby Beethoven

J loved playing the piano with my mom when she was C’s age. C also loved it…she is in a banging on things phase, so smashing her hands on the piano and getting different sounds was pretty exciting.

Birthday Squares

J’s birthday is on Monday. J has no idea, but she’s going to Kelowna on Sunday, so we thought we’d do her birthday thing at daycare on Friday. Except a few kids were already doing their birthday things. So, we’re going to do it tomorrow. J didn’t want cake or cupcakes. She wanted Cheerio and cranberry squares. They are pretty tasty!

C has started chattering. Along with chattering comes complaining and lamenting the woes of the world…she has discovered that the baby in the mirror will listen to her complain for as long as she needs to complain. Way better than those human people she lives with!!

Sunday Morning Painting

J was pretty happy this morning when I said she could most definitely paint while C took her nap…and she loves painting so much that it kept her busy through two naps and one feeding.

I got this bag as part of one of those promotions where you buy a special offer and get coupons. The catch is going back to redeem the coupons during the [small] window they're valid. It was a good deal. It was a company I shop at and have for years (I even shopped there when I lived in London) and all of the products are ones I'll use! Yay me! And this bag? It's perfect for our swimming stuff!

Holey Mattress

I was digging around in J's closet for something (and it's full) and I found this. It has had a hole in it since I lived in the Hobbit Hole, but for some unknown reason it has continued to live with us...for over five years. It left our house today. For good.
