We’ve been playing a lot more games since we moved and J absolutely loves Spot It. They had been playing it at school and she got her own for Christmas. When we don’t have time to play with her, she’s been brushing up on her skills by playing on her own. She’s really hard to beat!

A Special Tree

J got this very cool tree in the advent calendar today. It’s cardboard and it has a pretty beaded garland and a gold star. The dish has a “magic” solution in it.

This is after four hours. J is going to love it when she gets home!

Camp Blanket

A friend of mine from Pax Lodge saw my picture of J in her uniform and sent her some cool Rainbows stuff and some badges for her camp blanket. Her mom’s Rainbow group also sent her some pictures and a letter. J’s blanket has been around since I took her to camp and she got her first crests. If she decides she loves Guiding, I don’t know if this blanket will last past Guides…it’s small!

Baby C is not too sure about Baby Num Nums. J loved them…I think they taste like cardboard so if Baby C doesn’t like them, we’ll find her some other snack!

Two Teeth

This is the face of a child who has two teeth. She was fussy tonight and she’s been teething and I thought I’d rub her gums to maybe ease some of the pain…except there were already two teeth there!

Sea Wall Morning

It was an absolutely stunning morning today. J and I decided to take the sea wall to school and I’m so glad we did.

We are so lucky to live here…and it was fun going to school on the sea wall. J got to run and play with a bunch of her friends and that never happens when we take the side walk!

New Accessories

Happy Baby

Our happy baby wearing some of the lovely crocheted things my mom’s harp friends sent her – besides the hat and the blanket, she has a sweater and some booties. Oh, and the sweater was Alex’s when he was a baby.
