Our Little Cleaner

Baby is moving in to our room which means we lose our desk (just to the left of the picture) so Alex and I spent today cleaning, sorting and tossing stuff so that we can give baby a place for its bed and its clothing. J was a huge helper. It turns out she likes to dust.

For Christmas TeamHardCore gave us tickets to a Giants game…this might be our last “date” before the baby arrives…Alex sure looks excited!

Honey Bear

J got Honey Bear from Daddy, but it’s a bit delicate, so Honey Bear visited daycare, but didn’t get to stay. J would only let me take it if I proved it came in to my office so it didn’t get lonely. So, here’s Honey Bear hanging out at my desk.

Grown Up Date

Alex got tickets for the Home Show so we got a babysitter and made it an adult afternoon out. We went last year too…verdict? It’s much better when you’re not 7 months pregnant!

J was invited to a beat the winter blues dance party this morning…we had a great time with the family of one of her best buds and some of their friends…in the end there wasn’t a lot of dancing, but there was a lot of playing and laughing and eating and dressing up, so it was all good!

Ladies Who Lunch

J and I went on an excursion to the mall to return some things…J wore her super beautiful party dress and we stopped and had a very fancy lunch before heading home. J did the crossword puzzle while we waited for our food.

Christmas Eve Shopping Craziness

I had to go pick up one last gift on the worst possible shopping day ever. I found the "secret" till upstairs and waited behind only one other person. This particular store is at the corner of Granville and Broadway and if you know where the tills at this store used to be, that's where the line up reached when I came down the escalator. CRAZY. I'm so very glad I knew where the upstairs till was!
