Ten Little Fingers With Bop

We had dinner with my mom and dad tonight and Baby C and my dad spent some time reading her favourite book, Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes.

Sunday Morning Imagination

So, on Sunday mornings, Hello Kitty, some My Little Ponies, Kermit the Frog, a Filly Elf horse and a duck get gas at a floating gas station and then go for Lego ice cream. That's it...I wish my to do list for today was that short! (And the skate board that floats on water is pretty cool!)

My mom and dad popped by for a quick visit this afternoon. J was super excited to find someone else to play Chutes and Ladders with!

While J was at school, I spent some time securing the furniture to the walls in her room…Alex was surprised to see the way I did it…but they’re so secure, they’re not going anywhere, so it’s all good…

Solo Spot It

We’ve been playing a lot more games since we moved and J absolutely loves Spot It. They had been playing it at school and she got her own for Christmas. When we don’t have time to play with her, she’s been brushing up on her skills by playing on her own. She’s really hard to beat!

New Scarf

I made a baby blanket out of this wool to send to a friend in the fall. J wanted that blanket more than anything and I promised her that when I have time, I will get some more of that wool and make her a kid-sized version of the blanket…in the meantime I realized there was enough wool left that I could make something for her. She was SO excited to find this scarf waiting for her before school this morning.

A Curtain With Legs

This happens a lot now…she’s not sure what to do with curtains since our old place had blinds…I’m trying to convince here she doesn’t really want to hang out under them like this!

Converted To Knitting Storage

In its previous life, this little table was a telephone stand – the telephone sat on top, pens and paper were in the drawer and telephone books were in the cabinet…I think it’s going to be home to my current knitting projects…we still have a lot of stuff to sort out, so that might change, but for now, that’s the plan!

We’ve been using this unique method of moving…I think we’ll have only about eight or ten boxes. Bonus of moving not very far!

Empty Except For Some Baby Toys

We are moving in five days…this week was a write off as I was down with the flu, but next week we should get something done as I’m starting to feel better, Alex is off and we’ve got a nanny coming Saturday and Sunday. I have an amazing friend helping us out today too…I’m so grateful for the help!

Finally! A Pantry!

This is a crappy picture, but that’s my pantry! It’s more than twice the size that you see and it will comfortably hold our apartment sized deep freeze without getting in the way of any of the shelf space. I’m so excited to have a good place to store kitchen stuff!!!
