We woke up this morning and the tree looked like this!!
And then we walked to school and it looked like this! (Someone is happy for the snow but also because it’s the last day of school)
A small person at home thought the snow was pretty amazing too!
And she got a very special, personalized blanket in the mail today from a very special friend of mine.
J got this very cool tree in the advent calendar today. It’s cardboard and it has a pretty beaded garland and a gold star. The dish has a “magic” solution in it.
This is after four hours. J is going to love it when she gets home!
J’s school has an awesome Parent Advisory Committee. Along with one of the local resident’s associations, they planned an evening of carolling in our neighbourhood for the kids. We spend about an hour and half singing and walking and there was hot chocolate and goodies for the kids. J had an absolute blast and Baby C slept almost the whole time. YAY!
Now that she’s on the move, she tends to take the hard way places, especially if it means it’s faster!
We took Snow White to see Charlotte Diamond...I love that she loves the music we listened to as kids...Charlotte Diamond, Sharon, Lois & Bram and Raffi in particular! J was thrilled to go up on stage and sing and sign along…this is the third year we went and J has been asking for weeks when she would get to go and was so happy to be there today! Especially when she got to go up on stage!
It might look like a tug-o-war, but it’s really big sister reading to little sister….really!
As part of our advent calendar, we got to take the gondola up Grouse Mountain today. It was cheaper for us to get a family ticket than three tickets for us and J (C is still free) so J invited her best bud to come with us. They had an amazing time!
Baby C and I went to Granville Island this morning for coffee and a treat…and I may have visited the Postcard Place. Although, note to self, most stuff doesn’t open until 10:00 am…good thing the coffee place was open!
It snowed again…and we’re staying an extra few days…seems Baby C’s croup turned into an ear infection and she can’t fly…oh well…the snow is so much fun!
