Backstage

I got to hang out backstage at the Chan tonight and even have a dressing room and I'll be back again tomorrow. There is something so nice about being in a theatre, and being backstage especially. And then there's the unique theatre smell.

Substitute Wedding Ring

My fingers have gotten pretty swollen already, so on the weekend Alex and I went and got a temporary replacement ring. This bling cost us a whopping $22!

I have been trying to take these to work for a few days, so tonight I left them with my house keys in hope that I'll remember to pick them up when I grab my keys tomorrow morning.

Sunday Dinner

We had a real Sunday dinner tonight...maybe partly because we went grocery shopping? It's amazing what you can do when you buy groceries. We finished off with raisin pudding that my mom and both my grandmas used to make. YUMMY!

Porcupine

I think I got this in grade three, maybe grade four. It's exactly as it was then, except it no longer has a tail (which was an eraser) and has one spine missing.

Harry Potter Worked

When I discover I haven't picked up a book in a while and can't seem to read anything, I turn to Harry Potter. And it usually works. I'm rereading Time and Again and I have been pleasantly surprised (or maybe slightly stunned) that I don't remember any of it.

Computer Graveyard

We're waiting for our new computer...until it arrives, we have a computer graveyard in our living room. They're waiting to have their data transfered and then they'll go to new homes where they will hopefully be cursed less often than they are in our house.

Better Home

The miracle plant has found itself a new home in the window, it might be an east facing window, but it's better than the dark room. And the miracle plant got a drink of water. Hopefully it will continue to bloom now that it's happy.

Regrowth

This poor plant has been neglected since we moved. It was used to being watered regularly and spending time in a west-facing window. Lately it's been hanging out on the floor, in the dark, with no water for six weeks. But today I noticed it has started to bloom, all on its neglected own!

I had an overnight Guide meeting this weekend. Usually I get a room on the other side of the building, but this weekend I had the west view. It's a bit different than the usually east facing view.

Sushi Train

Sushi, going round and round the restaurant. I wonder if anyone actually ever takes it? The same dishes seemed to go around and around the whole time we were eating.
