One of J's teachers at daycare has an old school Fisher Price record player. Fisher Price released new ones in the States last year just before Christmas, but I couldn't find them here. I was so excited when I discovered the local big box bookstore carried them. We got J a "music box" for her birthday. I was not thrilled to find the new model requires batteries. I'm pretty sure the one we had as kids did not have batteries. Why do we need batteries for everything these days? J loves the music box and I've discovered that when she doesn't want to wake up, it's a great way to get her out of bed in the morning!
