HAND! HAND!

J is currently obsessed with tracing hands when she colours. That is having other people trace their hands or her hands. She will often yell someone's name followed by hand - a direct command to come and trace your hand and her hand. I found this picture stuffed in my bag when I got to work...I often find interesting things stuffed in my bag when I get to work!

Paul Harris Fellow And Rotarian Of The Year

This is the reason we're in Kelowna this weekend. My dad was installed as president of his Rotary club. What Kelsey didn't know was that my parents had arranged to recognize her for her work in Kenya with a Paul Harris Fellow. The Rotary club made a donation so that she could buy the orphanage a cow. To top the evening off, my dad was also named Rotarian of the year. What a great night! Here we all are (minus J who got hang with an awesome sitter!)

What A Blah Room

We got a new bed today. But our bedroom is kind of neutral blah...I went and looked for some new bedding on the weekend, but all I could find was grey or navy. We live in Vancouver. It rains. A lot. And it's grey. And our bedroom faces north. We're going away this weekend, so I'm hoping I'll find something happier in Kelowna!
