From Way Back When
I was working on a presentation for a Girl Guide event this weekend and needed some old pictures to use in it. Of course I didn't think about it until after 10:00 this evening and do I have a scanner at home? NO! Do I have access to a fantabulous scanner at work? Most certainly! Did I take the pictures with me? No! So, what to do? Take a picture of a picture of course. Not the first time I've done that this month. Turns out I didn't take any other pictures today. So, here is my good friend Hiromi doing a fan dance for us. Circa July 2001.

Phone Call
J was very happy to see us. Even happier to find that in the toy box at the house where we had lunch there were some telephones. So she could talk to Daddy. You know. In the same room. It's a bit hard to tell, but Alex is talking on the very cool, super stylish, much coveted, pink Princess phone.

We're picking J up tomorrow. We're meeting my parents at a family friend's house and she's making lunch for us, so I thought I better make some cookies to take with us. This is my favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe - the one we made as kids. Yummy.
