J loved her costume. She pranced around in it for most of the day. She wasn't sure what to make of some of the costumes we saw, but she liked to bark at people who were very dressed up!
We ventured out in the cold rain to cheer on some of our colleagues in pancake relay today...it looked like fun, but a bit treacherous with the wet ground!
The grocery store often has contests that involve getting cardboard pieces and peeling back flaps to see if you've won...this time I got a memory stick! I don't know the last time I won anything in any of their contests!
Well, not really. I'm usually the baker, but I caught Alex making some cake thing tonight...proof...he can use the kitchen! And apparently it turned out quite well too!
J has been very interested in her Bumbo lately. She sits in one for meals at the babysitter's and tonight she got hers out and tried to get in it all by herself.
J knows who Oncle Jared is now and this visit she didn't screech every time she saw him. By the end of the night they were super friendly - check out the story time!
I can't figure out who this work of art belongs to. It looks Chihuly-esque, but I'm pretty sure it's not. It's hanging in the Ike K. Barber Learning Centre if anyone knows who made it.
I came home from work this afternoon and didn't realize these two were sleeping. I hollered hello and not only did they not wake up, they didn't even flinch. They must be related!
Our neighbours brought this over for Jocelyn as their eight year old has definitely outgrown it. Alex and I both had the same one when we were kids and they don't make them anymore.
