The Favourite Toy

This is currently Baby J's favourite toy. She doesn't play with it so much as clutch the cloth. It was a gift from a friend of mine in England and apparently it's one of the "bestsellers" on the Marks and Spencer website. It's great with its different textures and Baby J is really soothed by the soft side of the cloth if we rub her clenched fists or head with it.

Oh, and looking at the M&S site makes me really miss shopping there!

Our dining room has a horrible chandelier thing in it that we hate. It's not exactly the prettiest thing going and it's a really harsh, bright light (it will soon be replaced!) Anyway, tonight we got smart and got the candles out for dinner...much better!

My colleagues had a shower for me today and Baby J got this super wonderful bouncy chair. This is the first time she sat in it and she's obviously entranced by it!

Fifers made Baby J a cute hat and one sock. Baby J has grown so much, she was worried that the sock wouldn't fit. But it does. So she headed home tonight to make a second one (well, she might not make it tonight, but she will make it!)
